Full STEAM Ahead
STEAM education has become a cornerstone for fostering innovation and building the future of our nation. However, not all students have access to STEAM educational basics, and to achieve success in these fields it is essential to have early exposure to STEAM in elementary and middle school. To address this issue, we created the STEAM Machine to engage children in science, technology, engineering, arts and math. In the spirit of company founder Henry Ford, STEAM initiatives are designed to inspire children to seek knowledge, be curious, make dreams of a better world come true and become the next generation of problem solvers.
The Ford STEAM Machine is a utility vehicle designed to bring hands-on learning experiences for kids all across the country. We launched on National STEAM day in Ford's backyard (The Henry Ford Museum) with social influencer, Kate the Chemist. Today, it continues to engage kids, keep them learning and as a way to help to distribute our STEAM boxes to future scientists.
